The clubs Senior's Section are known as the Fellmen. They form a very active part of the club.

The Fellmen meet for regular games on Tuesday & Friday mornings during the season. The programme of events is varied between informal social games, individual qualifying events and team competitions. The Fellmen also take part in a number of team matches against Senior teams from other golf clubs in Cumbria. These matches take place throughout the season and are played on a home and away basis and are followed by an enjoyable social meal following the game. The Fellmen also contribute their time on a volunteer basis in helping the club whenever they can or wherever a request is received for assistance.

Strong golfing ability is definitely not a pre-requisite, more the enjoyment and sociability of being with other like-minded people. If you are interested. further information and contact details can be found on the Fellmen noticeboard in the clubhouse.
